- 4 oranges
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup honey
- 1 small piece of ginger, sliced
- mint leaves (optional)
- Zest the oranges. Combine the water, honey, ginger, and zest in a small saucepan.
- Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until reduced to syrup.
- Peel the oranges and cut into slices ¼-inch thick.
- Layer the slices from half an orange into each dessert bowl. Spoon the syrup over the orange slices.
- Garnish with mint leaves (optional).
