Ginger Oranges

Preparation Time: 25 minutes | Serves: 8


  • 4 oranges
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 small piece of ginger, sliced
  • mint leaves (optional)

To prepare

  1. Zest the oranges. Combine the water, honey, ginger, and zest in a small saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil. Turn down heat and simmer until reduced to syrup.
  3. Peel the oranges and cut into slices ¼-inch thick.
  4. Layer the slices from half an orange into each dessert bowl. Spoon the syrup over the orange slices.
  5. Garnish with mint leaves (optional).
