Chai Tea

Preparation Time: 20 minutes | Serves: 8-12


  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 teabags of black tea, decaffeinated
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom

To prepare

  1. Heat the water in a large saucepan.
  2. When the water is warm, add the teabags. Bring to a rolling boil.
  3. Add the cardamom and stir well. Bring the tea back to a boil.
  4. Add the milk and sugar. Stir well.
  5. Cover the saucepan with a lid and bring the tea to a boil again.
  6. After the tea has boiled for a third time, remove from heat.
  7. Carefully remove the teabags. The mixture will be very hot.
  8. Stir the tea before serving.
